What is Propertunity?
Propertunity.ie pulls Ireland's council derelict-site registers into one searchable engine — for property developers, self-builders, and buyers hunting renovation projects while supplying as much information as possible. Council valuations start at €5,000+.
Every local authority must keep a register of derelict sites under the Derelict Sites Act. Those registers are public, but they live on 31 different council websites — often as PDFs, spreadsheets, or maps that are hard to search in one go.
We ingest what councils publish, normalise addresses and valuations where available, and surface register details, maps, and enforcement notices where councils provide them. You can save sites, add private notes, and get email alerts when we detect newly ingested entries in local authorities you care about — when each council updates its register.
It is a research tool — not an estate agent, not owner contact data, and not a guarantee that a site is for sale. Always check title, planning, and condition yourself. For official guidance on buying and renovating vacant or derelict homes, see Citizens Information's Local Authority Purchase and Renovation Loan and derelict sites pages.
